Business: Structured Export Finance (“SEF”)

Position: Account Manager

Reporting to: Head of SEF, Korea

Entity: ING Bank N.V., Seoul Branch

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Overview

The Account Manager is responsible for executing SEF transactions and managing SEF portfolio in an effort to supporting client relationship management including Korean ECAs(“KECA”) and corporate clients and origination activities for KECA transactions.

Responsibilities

As an Account Manager, your tasks and responsibilities will principally be:

– To perform credit analysis of existing and potential clients and carry out internal credit application and approval process

– To execute new transactions including documentation, follow-up on existing transactions, and monitor KECA portfolio as a team member in Structured Export Finance

– To effectively communicate with existing/potential clients, especially with Korean ECAs (KSure and KEXIM)

– To support KECA deal origination activities including identification of deal opportunities and preparation of presentation materials

– To perform agency roles as ECA Agent

Person Specifications

To be considered for this role, the applicant would ideally possess the following pre-requisites:

– Min. university degree in finance, economics or business administration;

– Ideally experience with 3 ~ 8 years

– Strong ability to conduct credit analysis including F/S analysis and C/F modelling to evaluate credit profile of corporate clients and non-recourse project finance transactions

– Sound product knowledge of general corporate banking products including project financing, ECA financing and corporate lending;

– High level of self-motivation and result-oriented approach;

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills in working with/for local and global clients including Korean ECAs;

– Strong mindset in innovation, promotion of ESG, and compliance;

– Fluent in English and Korean, both verbally and written; and

– Display an eagerness to learn.
