Your Role:
Do you have proven track record on your management or assistance of funds for global equities and bonds for yourself or through external managers? Have you ever engaged in presentation of investment ideas in a specific mandate for overseas securities markets? If so, what kind of response did you receive from the pitching? As an assistant manager in the UBS-Hana global investment solution team, you will
– perform a fundamental research for internal meeting for tactical asset allocation
– hedge foreign exchange risk when needed
– write and present investment performance reports on funds under management
– communicate with internal clients such as customers relationship managers with regard to outlook on markets and funds
Your Team:
You’ll be working in the global investment solution team in the UBS-Hana Asset Management in Youido. We are global portfolio managers with three types of on-shore funds, delegated funds, advised funds, fund of funds including ETF; our funds invest in equities, fixed income, listed real estates, and hedge funds both in developed and emerging markets. Our clients are mixed with institutions and retail investors, for which we do provide attribution analysis on the funds under management on a regular or irregular basis. The team collaborates with relevant team to construct new funds managed by UBS AM and team managers.
Requirments:
You have:
– a university degree ideally with a post-graduate qualification, CFA plus
– more than 2 years of experience in fundamental equity analysis, or comparable investment role
– a solid understanding of business models, industry dynamics, and competitive analysis
– the highest level of integrity and professionalism
You are:
– a certified investment manager by KOFIA (preferred)
– able to work broadly within a large, complex, matrix organization (you know the value of sharing information)
– keen to take the initiative with solution-oriented thinking that makes an impact
– fluent in English and Korean
