Schroders Korea Overseas Investment team is looking for a new Fund Manager / Fund Manager Assistant / Trader in our Seoul office.
Depending on skill sets and years of experience, the job holder will be given high autonomy and will work closely with Head of Overseas Investment.
Key Responsibilities
The job holder will be responsible for managing overall asset management business including funds and indirect funds, preparing market updates and other relevant materials and business support.
Trading on foreign exchange, stocks, bonds and other financial products also will be handled by the job holder.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Engineering, Finance, Economy, Business Management, Accounting, Statistics or other relevant major Commerce, Finance
2. Good understanding of financial markets and instruments
3. Strong communication skills both in Korean and English language
4. Proficient in MS Office Applications (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and financial terminals (e.g. Bloomberg)
5. CFA, CPA, FRM or other relevant certificates is a plus
6. Enjoys working in a team environment and comfortable interacting with all levels
7. Graduates with no prior experience in the financial services sector are welcome to apply, but candidates with 1 – 2 years of experience are preferred
