Analyst Internship Program – Global Finance, Investment Division
Description
Samchully Asset Management Co., Ltd. is looking for a highly capable intern to join the Investment Division Internship Program. The intern will play a critical role in assisting investment professionals in deal sourcing, due diligence, fund administration and market monitoring. The internship program will provide all successful candidates with training sessions in formulating financial modelling and creating pitchbooks. Outstanding candidates will be considered for a full-time position in our Seoul office upon completing undergraduate studies.
Timing
Full time commitment required from ASAP to end of August 2022. The internship typically lasts for three months, but can vary in length depending on business needs and candidate availability.

Responsibilities include
– Perform business research and summarize key findings on target assets and market dynamics
– Assist senior investment managers creating investment memorandums and project teasers
– Review legal documents and contracts
– Perform other administrative tasks as necessary
Preferred Qualifications
– Currently pursing undergraduate degree at a top-tier institution (senior preferred)
– Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills
– Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
– Commercial instinct and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
– Proficiency in full suite of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
– Motivation to work as a team player and contribute to a positive team culture
– Core modeling and valuation experience is a plus
– Prior investment banking, strategy consulting and/or private equity investing experience and knowledge of accounting and finance is highly desirable
