DSH Investment is a hedge fund based in Seoul, Korea. In addition to our own capital investment, we conduct deep-dive, value-based fundamental research for domestic and international clients. Our research focuses on special situations and GARP investments in publicly traded equities related to (but not limited to) M&A, LBO, restructuring, industry consolidation, spinoffs, privatization, shareholder activism, etc. Our coverage region includes the U.S., Europe, Korea, Hong Kong (China) and Japan.

Hiring position:
Equity Research Intern (Fulltime Offer Based)

As an equity research intern, you will be assisting a portfolio manager conducting deep-dive research and build financial models on various sectors and companies around the globe.
After rigorous pre-intern tests and a brief internship, you may receive a fulltime offer to join the firm as an investment analyst for 2-year program.

Who we are looking for

– Genuine interest in fundamental research and corporate finance (+value investing)

– Able to communicate effectively

– English proficiency (in written form)

– Attention to detail while maintaining a big picture orientation

– Being proactive

Qualification

– Must be able to work as a fulltime analyst (upon receiving the offer)

– Having the Certified Investment Manager license (투자자산운용사) already is a plus

– Strong knowledge of accounting, corporate finance and valuation

– Proficient in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling skill is a big plus)

– Any kind of value investment experience is a plus
